Sizing & fit
What size are Goldman Socks?
One size fits most, US shoe sizes 7-13. Crew length with light compression in the calf.
Will they shrink in the wash?
Minimal shrinkage if you wash warm and line-dry. We don't recommend the dryer — it shortens the sock and dulls the print over time.
Do you have larger or smaller sizes?
Not currently. Every Goldman Socks design ships as one size only. If there's strong demand for additional sizes, we'll consider it.
Are these crew, ankle, or knee-high?
Crew length — they sit a few inches above the ankle, ideal under most trouser cuts.
Materials & care
What are Goldman Socks made of?
75% cotton, 21% nylon, 4% Spandex. Combed cotton sourced from the southeastern United States.
Where are they made?
Designed in Austin, Texas. Manufactured in North Carolina. The cotton starts in southeastern US fields.
How should I wash them?
Machine wash warm (40°C / 104°F) with like colors. No bleach. Line dry — avoid the dryer to preserve the print and the fit.
Can I tumble dry them?
We don't recommend it. The dryer shortens the sock, breaks down the elastic faster, and dulls the print. Line drying takes maybe 6 hours and the socks last meaningfully longer.
Are they hypoallergenic?
The materials (cotton, nylon, Spandex) are common and generally well-tolerated, but we can't guarantee allergy-free for any specific person. If you have a known sensitivity to dyes or synthetic fibers, check before ordering.
Shipping
How much does shipping cost?
Flat $4.50 per order within the United States. Free on orders of $50 or more.
Do you ship internationally?
Not currently. We ship within the United States only. International shipping is on the maybe-someday list, but we'd need to figure out customs and returns logistics first.
How quickly do orders ship?
We get orders out within 2 business days. You'll receive an email with tracking when your package leaves us. Carrier transit typically adds 3-7 business days.
Can I expedite shipping?
Not at the moment — we offer flat-rate USPS only. If you need a sock urgently, email [email protected] and we'll see what we can do.
Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses?
Yes, military addresses work with our flat USPS rate. Same 2 business day handling.
Returns & refunds
What's your return policy?
60 days from delivery for any reason. Full refund. Free returns (we don't charge restocking fees), but you cover the return shipping back to us. See our full policy at /returns.
How do I start a return?
Email [email protected] with your order number and which item(s) you want to return. We'll reply within one business day with our return address.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Email us within 7 days of delivery. We'll cover the return shipping and expedite a replacement.
How long do refunds take?
We issue the refund to your original payment method within 3 business days of receiving the return. Your bank usually posts it within 1-3 business days after that.
About the brand
Who designs Goldman Socks?
A small team based in Austin, Texas. We design, source, and partner with a US manufacturer for production.
Why fintech-themed socks?
Because nobody else was making them and we work in fintech. Bull and bear motifs, "buy low / sell high" hidden details, BAAS sheep — small jokes for people who get them.
Can I propose a sock design?
Honestly, yes. Email [email protected] with the idea. The good ones become real socks; the great ones become your idea on someone's ankle.
